Paperwork took a while but excellent service went to Rick Case and came right back to Gunther just because of the customer service by Joel Badio and the Manager excellent I would recommend Gunther all the way.

Terrible Service! I have been a loyal customer of Gunther Volkswagen (in Fort Lauderdale) since 2010. Today this has ended. Jimmy Gonzalez was my go-to technician for years. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and caring; he had even gone out of his way on occasion to help - within his capability of course, but even when he couldn't help, you could tell he always tried and explained everything to the last detail. So I made an appointment on Friday 7/14/2023 for service as usual and requested Jimmy. My appointment with him was confirmed THREE times over the course of THREE days. They kept calling me to confirm my appointment - as if they had no idea it was already confirmed, and each time it was confirmed that the appointment would be with Jimmy. When I got to the dealership on the morning of my scheduled appointment on 7/19/2023, I was told that Jimmy retired and no longer worked there. So these people confirmed my appointment with someone who has already retired! They blatantly LIED to me about my appointment with Jimmy just to get me there. Either that or they have VERY POOR communication between themselves, but I really think they knew Jimmy was no longer there and just lied! HOW SHADY! So I was already there - their plan to get me there was working - they assigned someone named Jesse as my service person. He told me that it was a long service and that I would need to leave the car for the entire day. I only have ONE car! I told him that, but he didn't seem to get that I couldn't just leave my car, I needed either a rental or something to get me home. He said to me - he had no cars or rentals to give me. He did tell me that there was a shuttle that could take me to Hallandale Beach where I live - which I remember Jimmy telling me before that their shuttle never went that far... Ok, even if that shuttle did bring me home how would I come back to the dealership to pick up the car? I guess I would have had to take an Uber - which would cost me WAY over $40 from where I live! OR, this Jesse service guy offered for me to sit at the dealership for 8+ hours and wait for my car to get done! WHO in their right mind would even think of offering such an option? You could tell the guy was like - I don't care, do what you want! His tone even screamed - I don't care! Jimmy always gave me a car or a $25 voucher for a rental (just for a day) anytime I had to wait over 3 hours! But this guy was no Jimmy! What a stark difference from the previous service I received there and the lack of respect for loyal customers. I LEFT!

My experience was top notch. Tom Albaugh helped me find the perfect vehicle for me. The process is much quicker nowadays. When receiving the keys to go home, Tom made sure to sit and show me everything the car does. He went through each setting with me and made sure I knew the gist of it all. This was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had from start to finish.

I purchased 2022 Volkswagen Tijuana from Mr volkmar on September7, he was a gentleman, very patient, reliable and professional. I was a little nervous but he made my purchased experience very easy.

It’s my 2nd car I bought at the dealer and the experience was perfect the seller agent Luis Leal is the best and very professional; together got the best deal possible!!! And Willie was really dedicated and great attention as well. So I recommend the team.

I’ve been trying to buy a car from Gunther and I can honestly say I’ve never had an experience this bad. According to my salesman, Volkswagen, the manufacturer, doesn’t know how to price their cars to account for Covid and inflation and it’s China’s fault and let’s go Brandon. His words, not mine to justify a $5,000 mark up on a car. It’s now “only” a $2,000 mark up but “there’s plenty of people who will pay $4k over sticker” I’m told. I’m trying to buy the car at sticker price+++ and include my $500 rebate for military as I am a disabled Veteran. I was even sent a meme from the movie Glengarry Glen Ross calling me weak. Though I appreciate the humor, the level of unprofessionalism from a guy who told me he’s been with VW for 25 years is quite shocking. I hope someone from management is willing to make this right and stop treating a GTI like a Ferrari Enzo.

WHY IS DEALER-RATER REMOVING MY NEGATIVE RATES ON GUNTHER VW AT FT LAUDERDALE??? I ALREADY TRIED 2 TIMES TO POSTED MY BAD EXPERIENCE RIP OFFS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. EVEN WHEN I SPOKE FACE TO FACE TO GENERAL manager juan tera BRAKING THE LAW BY DO NOT REMOVING MY NAME FROM THE VEHICLE I GAVE AS DOWN PAYMENT ALMOST 4 YEARS AGO AND THEY GAVE THIS VEHICLE TO SOMEONE UNKNOWN TO ME AND THIS SOMEONE ELSE IS DRIVING THAT CAR REGISTERED UNDER MY NAME. THIS IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE ARE NOT RETURNING MY CALLS AND AVOIDING ME OF SOMETHING AGAIN THE THE FEDERAL LAW. WHO KNOWS WHAT ARE THERE COOKING THERE WHEN THERE ARE NOT EVEN RESPONDING MY CALLS OF SOMETHING SO SERIOUS? AS RESULTS THE SAME CAR I BOUGHT FROM THEM WAS TOWED AWAY DUE 10 PARKING VIOLATIONS TICKET I DIDN'T KNOW EXIST, THAT IS WHEN I FOUND OUT WHAT THERE ARE DOING. WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE? IT'S INCREDIBLE I HAD TO PAID ALMOST $1000.00 TO GET MY CAR BACK ALMOST ONE MONTH AGO I CALLED THEM SO MUCH TIMES AND NO one FROM THEM GIVES ME AT LEAST A COURTESY CALL. YOU CAN BE NEXT!!! DON'T BE A VICTIM
